CAMPAIGN FOR WOOL MOODWALLS

“THERE’S NO WOOL IN THE SEA”

The Campaign for Wool has collaborated with the stylist, writer and stance merchant Tom Stubbs aka Style and Error to create a video Mood Wool Wall, highlighting some of wool’s natural performance and sustainable benefits juxtapositioned with some major stylish garments, accessories and facts that Tom selected from brands that are not only some of his favourites, but have also supported the Campaign for a number of years. The video includes garments and accessories made from British and Merino wool, and delves into the history of certain flocks, wool types and sheep breeds. The film also refers to wool being one of the most ecological and sustainable fibres available from a conversation Tom had with Douglas Cordeaux, Fox Brothers who pointed out to Tom that “there is no wool in the sea” unlike plastic microfibres that are being found worldwide from man-made fabrics, garments and products. This then became the title to the film. Featuring music by Sample Answer - Textile Baby.

Campaign for Wool Mood Walls with 5 or 8 or so of my fav’ brands, shot on a light ship with Sample Answer helping with narative/mood. Shot by Lloyd Almond and with loads of our people in it too.

Stubbs out.
